Title CARPO: High level Regional meeting of Heads of Police from South-eastern Europe - Final Conference 
Description The objective of the high level meeting is to take-stock of overall achievements under module 1 outputs in each project area and in the region and to review the progress made in the implementation of the regional strategy on tools against organised and economic crime, based on:

 the update of the situation report on organised and economic crime,
 common benchmarks to meet the acquis of the European Union and other European standards and practices against which progress made by each country can be measured,
 the sectoral strategies on crime analysis, use of intelligence and of special investigative techiques, witness protection, financial investigations and confiscation of proceeds of crime, cross-border and international cooperation,
 the specific action oriented measures of the EC.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 14444) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To review all the progress made by the project under module 1 outputs in each project area and in the region and to review the progress made in the implementation of the regional strategy on tools against organised and economic crime. 
Output/Results Agreement on the project's results and the extension until June 2007 on two issues: crime analysis and financial investigations. 
Conclusions/Follow Up Further support to the fight against organised and economic crime by the project during the extension period.
