Title Preliminary Technical Assessments (PTA) for rehabilitation projects in Kosovo (UNMIK) - Orthodox sites 
Description Within the framework of the Regional Programme for cultural and natural heritage of South East Europe [Component B, the Integrated Rehabilitation Project Plan/Survey of the architectural and archaeological heritage (IRPP/SAAH) jointly implemented by the CoE and the EC], the IRPP/SAAH Project Co-ordinators in Pristina and Belgrade were entrusted with overseeing the preparation process, carried out in 2006 by the relevant expert teams, of 5 Preliminary Technical Assessments on Orthodox sites in Kosovo selected from the Prioritised Intervention List.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 15043) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To finalise the 5 outstanding Preliminary Technical Assessments (PTAs) on the Orthodox sites on the Prioritised Intervention List (PIL) for Kosovo
 
Output/Results The 5 outstanding Preliminary Technical Assessments (PTAs) were finalised. 
Conclusions/Follow Up All the PTAs on the Kosovo Orthodox sites were available for dissemination both within Kosovo and outside to raise awareness of the urgency to safeguard cultural heritage and to prepare for fund raising to rehabilitate the heritage. They were also promoted during the Xth ''Salone dei Beni e delle Attivita' Culturali'' held in Venice in December.
