Title Joint Council of Europe / European Commission preliminary technical assessment (PTA) mission for rehabilitation projects in Kosovo (UNMIK) 
Description Within the framework of the Regional Programme for cultural and natural heritage of South East Europe [Component B, the Integrated Rehabilitation Project Plan/Survey of the architectural and archaeological heritage (IRPP/SAAH) jointly implemented by the CoE and the EC], the mission aimed at overseeing, in co-operation with the IRPP/SAAH Project Co-ordinators in Pristina and Belgrade, the preparation process, to be carried out in 2006 by the relevant expert teams, of 5 Preliminary Technical Assessments on Orthodox sites and 6 Preliminary Technical Assessments on Ottoman sites in Kosovo, selected from the Prioritised Intervention List.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 15082) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To help finalise the outstanding 5 Preliminary Technical Assessments (PTAs) on Orthodox sites in Kosovo (involving representatives in Belgrade and Kosovo), as well as the 6 PTAs on Ottoman sites in Kosovo.
 
Output/Results All the PTAs for Kosovo, those on Orthodox sites (see CEAD Activity No. 15043) and on Ottoman sites (see CEAD Activity No. 15214) were finalised.
 
Conclusions/Follow Up The finalised PTAs (on both Orthodox and Ottoman sites) were available for dissemination within Kosovo (in particular during the European Heritage Days in September) and outside (the Xth Salone dei Beni e delle attivita Culturali'' in Venice in December).
