Title Joint Council of Europe / European Commission preliminary technical assessment (PTA) mission for rehabilitation projects in Serbia 
Description Within the framework of the Regional Programme for cultural and natural heritage of South East Europe [Component B, the Integrated Rehabilitation Project Plan/Survey of the architectural and archaeological heritage (IRPP/SAAH) jointly implemented by the CoE and the EC], the mission aimed at overseeing the PTAs already carried out in Serbia and to provide guidance on the remaining PTAs scheduled to be carried out in 2006 (9 sites selected from the PIL).

Activity Synopsis (ID# 15134) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) The objective of the mission was for the expert to oversee the PTAs already carried out in Serbia and to provide guidance on the remaining 9 PTAs scheduled to be carried out in 2006. 
Output/Results 9 Preliminary Technical Assessments (PTAs) finalised (see also CEAD Activity No. 14735).
Conclusions/Follow Up The outstanding PTAs were available for dissemination both within the country and outside to raise awareness of the urgency to safeguard cultural heritage and to prepare for fund raising to rehabilitate the heritage. They were also promoted during the Xth ''Salone dei Beni e delle Attivita' Culturali'' held in Venice in December.
