Activity Synopsis (ID# 16077) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To discuss the requirements of the Convention by comparing it to the current legislation and prepare the law for the ratification. A key aspect of this analysis and discussion was the development of the list of reservations and declarations. Apart from that the Serbian translation of the Convention and the Additional Protocol was completely reviewed and corrected. 
Output/Results A draft proposal of possible reservations and declarations was prepared by Mr. Marco Gercke. In view of the intention to ratify the Convention as quickly as possible all possible reservations were intensively discussed and prepared. 
Conclusions/Follow Up Final decision, if Serbia will make use of these reservations will be discussed and taken within the MoJ.
