Title Part 1 of the Feasibility Studies (FS) on the 2 sites chosen in Serbia 
Description Within the framework of the Regional Programme for cultural and natural heritage of South East Europe [Component B, the Integrated Rehabilitation Project Plan/Survey of the architectural and archaeological heritage (IRPP/SAAH) jointly implemented by the CoE and the EC], the national IRPP/SAAH Project Co-ordinator was entrusted with carrying out Part 1 of the FS on the 2 sites chosen in Serbia.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 16317) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To help the national Programme Coordinator proceed with the Feasibility Studies on the 2 sites chosen for Serbia (Lepenski Vir and Sremski Karlovci).

 
Output/Results The FS were carried out in time to present them at the Xth ''Salone dei Beni e delle Attivita' Culturali'' held in Venice in December.

 
Conclusions/Follow Up The experience in carrying out these feasibility studies should enable the Project Coordinator to prepare FSs for the other sites on the Prioritised Intervention List (PIL). The FSs will be used to attract funds to rehabilitate sites on the PIL as well as a basis for the Rehabilitation Project to be carried out within a joint EC/CoE Programme in 2007.
