Title Participation in the 10th Venice Fair on cultural goods and activities 
Description The Regional Programme for Cultural and Natural Heritage in South East Europe [Component B - Integrated rehabilitation project plan / Survey of the architectural and archaeological heritage (IRPP/SAAH) jointly implemented by the CoE and the EC] was the special guest of the Venice Fair 2006. Representatives of Regional Programme countries and international experts promoted the national projects in order to benefit from the high level professional participation at the Fair as well as to establish possible future bilateral co-operation.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 16673) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) For IRPP/SAAH to participate as special guest at the 2006 Venice Fair / Restaura which had as its theme ''Cultural Tourism''. Countries/region were offered individual stands to promote their national projects in order to benefit from the high level professional participation at the Fair as well as to establish possible future bilateral co-operation. 
Output/Results IRPP/SAAH presence at the X Salone dei Beni e delle Attivita` Culturali in Vence was again a great success, allowing participating countries to promote their national projects, to participate in the specific seminars organised during the Salone and to increase their international networks. A ''Happening'' organised on the IRPP/SAAH stands brought together participants from the 46 CoE countries which were attending meetings on European Heritage Days and Cultural Itineraries specialy organised to coincide with the Fair and representatives of local, regional and national authorities of the host country. Taking advantage of the coordinators' presence in Venice, the 9th IRPP/SAAH coordination meeting (CEAD 15841) and the 5th RPSEE coordination meeting (CEAD 17375) were also held during the Fair. 
Conclusions/Follow Up The organisers of the Venice Fair have renewed their invitation to IRPP/SAAH for 2007. Interest to organise a fund-raising event in 2007 was also expressed. The
