Title Pilot Census 
Description The pilot census will be an opportunity to test the methodology of the census, data processing, and the capacity of the Statistical Office to organise it. In addition to the Steering Committee, six international observers will monitor the pilot census, which will cover selected enumeration areas in 3 municipalities - Pec/Peja, Kamenica, Shtrepce.

Project Purpose 1 - 2006/DG3/JP/1655   Establish a climate of transparency and trust of the population in the census results and ensure the international standards of the census
Expected Result 1.1 - Increased confidence in the census leads to a higher participation in the census and a credible final data The census is organised according to the international standards and in respect of ethnic minorities An appropriate mechanism is put in place to allow for a proper handling of data, avoiding misusage and with respect of its confidentiality
