Activity Synopsis (ID# 16961) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) A number of civil servants from the SISP beneficiary countries (including Romania and Bulgaria) are invited to a study tour. The tour consist in the participation in the Social Security Training Seminar on the Coordinating Instruments to be held in Prague and the participation in seminar specifically organised by DG-III for them in Strasbourg. 
Output/Results The participants had the changed to further examine present obligations under EC Rules and CoE instruments in the social security coordination field. It also allows participant to create a regional network, since the participants are all working at national level in this particular field. 
Conclusions/Follow Up Both seminars were well organised and participants had the chance to meet more than 80 social security experts in Prague (including representatives of the EC, ILO, ISSA and ETUC) and also meet experts/adminitrators in the different social areas presently developped in the CoE (notably DG-III but also DG-II/European Social Charter).
