Activity Synopsis (ID# 17438) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To review the state of play of the project's implementation and to discuss and plan the future activities
Output/Results The project implemented 27 activities in 2006. For the first half of 2007, a special attention will be dedicated to a training course on the subject Risk Base Approach in the fight against financing terrorism to be organised in Belgrade. There should be three two-day training courses with about thirty participants each. Four topical workshops and four awareness workshops were organised in 2006 which were very successful and received a great media coverage. Four “practical workshops” with concrete cases of high-technology criminal are planned for 2007. All the details re. the organisation of the workshops in January and February and the preparation of the ones to be implemented in March (including the CC Conference)and April 2007 were studied by the participants.

Conclusions/Follow Up Participants supported the idea to have a major conference held in September 2007 under the Serbian chairmanship of the Comittee of Ministers. Authorities of the Republic of Serbia will help to organise such activity. Details should be discussed during the second quarter of 2007.
