Activity Synopsis (ID# 19874) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) Discuss the draft AML/CTF strategy of the Republic of Serbia and improve the text before its adoption by the Government. 
Output/Results The discussion emphasised that the AML/CFT Strategy addresses several issues which have to be dealt within the next five years and the need to adopt a detailed Action Plan(s) which shall supplement the AML/CFT Strategy shall be taken under the consideration. The entire Strategy was reviewed and amended when necessary. 
Conclusions/Follow Up The draft AML/CTF Strategy shall be redrafted and restructured following the results and agreement reached in the meeting. The mandate of the existing Permanent Coordination Group shall be extended to cover the implementation of the AML/CTF Strategy and the Government shall ensure that the high level representatives from different State institutions and the judiciary shall be appointed as new members.
