Activity Synopsis (ID# 20670) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) Discuss the key principles of performance management at local level and examine the responses of the French and Serbian Pilot Municipalities to the Questionnaire and Template which was sent to them with a view to identify joint topics of interests as well as performance indicators. 
Output/Results Serbian and French representatives have been introduced to the key principles of performance management and to UK and French methods in this field. They exchanged on their respective experience in this field and presented their responses to the joint questionnaire and templates which they received. Joint topics of interest and performance indicators were also identified following distinct working groups sessions. 
Conclusions/Follow Up - Till December: revision of the respective French and Serbian Pilot Municipalities Performance Management templates;
- January 2008: organisation of distinct small scale workshop with the representatives of Serbian pilot municipalities to finalise their templates;
- 4 to 6 February 2008: Peer Reviews of Serbian Representatives in French Pilot Municipalities;
- 7 February 2008: Joint Seminar in Nevers (France) to discuss the conclusions of the Peer Reviews;
