Title Participation in the 11th Venice Fair on cultural goods and activities 
Description The Regional Programme for Cultural and Natural Heritage in South East Europe [Component B - Integrated rehabilitation project plan / Survey of the architectural and archaeological heritage (IRPP/SAAH) jointly implemented by the CoE and the EC] was invited to take part in the Venice Fair 2007. Representatives of Regional Programme countries have promote the national projects in order to benefit from the high level professional participation at the Fair as well as to establish possible future bilateral co-operation.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 21025) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To promote the IRPP/SAAH activities carried out in the 9 participating countries and to make contacts with possible partners for supporting rehabilitation projects. 
Output/Results One stand presented specifically Albanian projects and one other stand was devoted to the CoE. Several hundreds of documents related to the IRPP/SAAH activity have been distributed to visitors. 
Conclusions/Follow Up The participation of the IRPP/SAAH project in the Venice Fiere has been initiated in 2005 with great success and positive impact for the 160 rehabilitation projects elaborated in the 9 participating countries. The Venice Fiere is one of the most important events of that kind in the field of cultural heritage and offers several opportunities to meet professionals and potential partners for projects. 
Participants 15 000 visitors in the Fiere. All 9 countries were invited to organise a stand but only Albania took the opportunity. 
Consultants/Experts 2 local experts (among whom Ida Ossie, Project Leader for the IRPP/SAAH represented the CoE at its stand.
