Activity Synopsis (ID# 23577) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) To present Progress report V of the project the Steering Committee members, to discuss and finalize the draft work plan for 01 August 2011 - 31 January 2012. 
Output/Results The Steering Committee members adopted Progress Report V and expressed their recommendations as regards the draft work plan of the project for 01 August 2011 - 31 January 2012. 
Conclusions/Follow Up Steering Committee members made suggestions to modify the project activities planned in the segment of assistance to the establishment of public broadcasting, since the political will as regards its establishment is pending. They have also recommended to select different partners in the segment of assistance to the process of transition from analogue to digital broadcasting, since the initially planned partner structure appeared to be not functioning.
