Activity Synopsis (ID# 25687) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) Having in mind that National Council for HE is in charge of developing Serbian QF and that initial / preparatory work commenced, choosing two representatives of this institution to attend the Conference “The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) linking to globalised world” held in Brussels on 29-30 January, was deemed as the best choice. Conference was organized by European Training Foundation in co-operation with the Chair of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee, the Presidency of Czech republic, DG for Education and Culture of the EC and Cedefop. The Conference brought together members of the EQF Advisory Group, representatives from partner countries of the EU as well as from other countries working on QF.
Output/Results The main aim of the Conference was to improve the understanding of the EQF, to determine how it relates to international developments in QF and to promote the sharing of knowledge and understanding between different systems. Serbian participants took active part in the discussion and they also reported back to their institution and other partners.
