No Synopsis

Title Global Youth Work Training Course (at the University on Youth and Development)
Description The inter-regional and global training programme developed by the Centre since 1995 provides a space for the Centre in performing its role in coordinating efforts and creating spaces for effective trainings as well as in creating a framework to enhance the role of youth in North-South Co-operation and in global youth work. The Global Youth Work training course for youth organisations was developed, in the context of the University, due to increased interest of youth organisations and youth leaders to engage in global issues in the context of education and is unique in its kind in Europe. The Centre will continue, with a renewed support from the European Commission, to organise one training course for 30 youth leaders and youth organizations, from Europe and the global South, in the context of the University on Youth and development in 2009. Based on previous collaboration the training courses will be organised in close partnership with the European Youth Forum and other regional youth platforms.
