Activity Synopsis (ID# 27631) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) After expert reports have been submitted to piloted HEIs only two expressed the wish to further pursue activities aiming at improving / enhancing their quality. Medical Faculty Nis not only requested to meet the expert, but expressed willingness to continue working further on improving their self-evaluation report and undertaking other essential actions. They offered end of July for the meeting with the whole self-evaluation team. Eleven representatives of the Faculty had all day discussion with the expert and during breaks visits of the Faculty’s premises were organized.
Brief meeting with the Dean also chairperson of the self-evaluation team from Nis Law Faculty was held as well and the conclusion is that they will try to prepare improved version until autumn.
 
Output/Results The whole process was designed as a consultative one between HEI and expert aiming to enhance the quality of the institution by increasing their own capacity to detect weaknesses in the system and to provide adequate solutions. It was agreed to start preparations for the external on-site evaluation visit for the Medical Faculty.

 
Conclusions/Follow Up Activity will be further pursued as planned, namely external evaluation visit of the team of three experts will be organized. Beside the expert that reviewed the self-evaluation report, two more from the relevant field (medicine) and huge experience in EUA evaluations will join. Before the visit can take place, second improved version of the self-evaluation report needs to be prepared and further commented by the CoE expert.
