Title Participation of Serbian expert on DECOWE (Development of Competences in the World of Work and Education International Conference 
Description Prof. Neda Bokan, Vice Rector of Belgrade University and Chair person of the Working Group on Recognition of Qualifications will attend the DECOWE International Conference in Ljubljana.

Serbian participant will be in position to exchange experience and opinions on the topic which will be of benefit for the future work of the Working Group and overall HE reform process.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 28073) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) The Project Team organized participation of one local expert, president of the WG for the recognition of qualifications professor Bokan, at the DECOWE (Development of Competences in the World of Work and Education) International Conference, taking place in Ljubljana 24-25 September 2009. Having in mind that recognition, qualifications framework and quality assurance are inseparably interwoven, participation of professor Bokan was considered as important. She will exchange experience and views on the topic which will be of benefit for the future work of the Working Group and overall HE reform. 
Output/Results Conference has been dealing with number of important issues closely linked with the recognition, qualifications framework and quality assurance, opening dialog between labour market, curricula revision, research and management. Aiming at improved knowledge of the Serbian stakeholders, participation of professor Bokan in her capacity of the President of the WG for Recognition was deemed as important and undoubtedly beneficial for the future work of the WG having in mind the forthcoming tackling of the issues of professional recognition and all linked topics within the WG. 
Conclusions/Follow Up Project will continue providing participation of Serbian stakeholders at the relevant international events
