Activity Synopsis (ID# 28532) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) Fourth European QA forum was dedicated to the “Creativity and diversity: Challenges for Quality Assurance beyond 2010”. The main focus was on the issue how current internal and external quality assurance approaches take or not account of institutional diversity and support or not creativity and innovative practices in HE. Discussions were held both in plenary and parallel sessions. The Forum is co-organized, again, by the E-4 group: ENQA, ESU, EUA and EURASHE, with the support of the Life Long Learning Programme of the EC and hosted by the Copenhagen Business school. Project team organized participation of three Serbian experts, two from the CAQA and one from the NCHE.
Output/Results Benefit that Serbian experts had from attending the previous Forums encouraged the Project Team to send yet again, representatives from CAQA and NCHE, not only since both institutions are tasked with quality assurance issues, but also due to the fact that attendance proved very advantageous for both institutions in the past. Initially four participants were planned but unforeseen circumstances prevented one additional CAQA member to take part in the Forum. Participants enhanced their knowledge of QA trends at the European level, and liaised with colleagues from partner institutions abroad.
Conclusions/Follow Up Project will continue providing participation at relevant international events for different Serbian stakeholders if considered to be beneficial.
