Activity Synopsis (ID# 28913) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) WG after October 2009 meeting elaborated the existing document trying to build on the experience of others but also to have Serbia specific approach. Document prepared was sent to CoE experts for comments and their report submitted to WG members. After internal discussion of the report among WG members, they requested, if possible, to have one additional meeting with the CoE expert in order to discuss the report prepared in detail. Core WG members were invited and fruitful discussion followed.
Output/Results Experts’ report was analyzed in detail and expert provided additional suggestions, clarifications and advice how to further improve the document. Once again shortcomings were outlined and WG taken step by step through suggested improvements starting from legislative changes as absolute necessity and continuing with the need to make strategic decisions and to involve in the process all stakeholders. Strategy for HE with the clear roles and timetables should be prepared taking into consideration in particular issues of employability and strengthening the concept of student centred learning, that of course requires curricula revision and is closely linked with quality assurance and in consequence recognition.
Conclusions/Follow Up WG promised to continue working on the NQF and CoE expert, though Project will end in two weeks, offered off-site consultations if WG needs additional advice / clarifications
