Title Coordination and advice to the Working Group for improving the criminal procedure 
Description This WG has been set up by the Minister of Justice for the purpose of drawing up proposals and draft legislation on reform of the criminal procedure.

CoE experts and national consultants will:
- take part to all meetings of the WG and act as coordinators (upon acceptance by the Ministry of Justice) between July-December 2011;
- analyse the proposals referred to the WG and assist in drawing up draft legislation, within the mandate of the WG, and aligned with Council of Europe and EU standards and good practices related to justice administration and guaranteeing the rule of law;
- provide regular reports assessing WG’s objectives and expected results, the progress of work, main challenges and further assistance which could be rendered by the Democracy Support Programme in the Republic of Moldova.
