Activity Synopsis (ID# 31418) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) - Carry out an assessment in project countries on the cooperation between law enforcement authorities and Internet service providers including recommendations for the strengthening of such cooperation
- Organise a regional meeting for LEA and ISP to discuss guidelines on LEA-ISP cooperation to be followed in each project area

 
Output/Results - Reviewed the current state of cooperation between LEA and ISP in the project areas;
- Discussed the feasibility of cooperation agreements based on the Council of Europe Guidelines for cooperation between law enforcement and internet service providers against cybercrime.
- Reached agreement on specific steps to taken in each project area regarding LEA/ISP cooperation.
