Title 7th annual meeting of the Correspondents to the European Knwoledge Centre for Youth Policy (EKCYP) 
Description Since 2011 EKCYP correspondents have to comply with an extended duty which includes the contribution to the setup of national networks on youth knowledge. Also, new information templates for collecting data on youth participation and voluntary activities have been proposed by the EU-CoE youth partnership. The meeting will allow for following up and exchanging on the progress made by correspondents related to these tasks. The meeting of EKCYP correspondents also serves for an exchange on experiences and good models of good pratice, the development of standards and common working approaches and a corporate identity.

Activity Synopsis (ID# 32081) (Hide Synopsis)

Objective(s) - National EKCYP-correspondents to be informed about developments in EU and CoE concerning the field of youth and specifically evidence based youth policy.
- Correspondents to be informed on consultation meeting held by the youth partnership with interested MS on the future development of EKCYP and consulted concerning proposals prepared by the EU-CoE youth partnership as a follow up of that consultation
- Correspondents to inform about developments related to this area on the national level.
- New EKCYP-correspondents to be briefed with regard to their roles and related tasks.
- Discuss improvements of communicatio tools, specifically concerning the Web based social forum (NING) 
Output/Results Information on knowledge based youth policy on national and EU/CoE level has been exchanged. Proposals from correspondents concerning role and future development of EKCYP have been gathered. Improvement of communication through web based social network has been discussed. 
Conclusions/Follow Up Ideas of correspondents have been taken into account when drafting the EU-CoE youth partnership workplan for 2012.
