Title Partnership Management Board 
Description The Partnership Management Board prepares decisions, co-ordinates and steers activities under the EU-Council of Europe youth partnership. It meets once per semester. The Partnership Management Board invites representatives of the Council of Europe (including the chairs of the Advisory Council and European Steering Committee on Youth, CDEJ), the European Commission, the EU-CoE youth partnership secretariat and, as observer, the European Youth Forum.

Objective(s) The Partnership Management Board prepares decisions, co-ordinates and steers activities under the EU-Council of Europe youth partnership. It meets once per semester. 
Output/Results Both sides reported on latest news from the institutions (Paulger, Ólafsdóttir), on side of the European Commission on the new programme proposal ''Erasmus for All'', on side of the Council of Europe on the ongoing reform. After, the manager of the EU-CoE youth partnership (Marta Mędlińska) reported on the state of affairs regarding the current staff situation and other developments particularly the implmentation of the joint work programme, followed by an exchange on the development of the EU-CoE youth partnership in 2011 and priority setting for future activities 2012-2013. The management board decided then on the 2012 work plan, in the areas of a. evidence based youth policy (knowledge production, Pool of European Youth Researchers, European Knowledge Centre for Youth Policy), b. capacity building and recognition of youth work (recognition and future training strategies on evidence and participation-based youth policies), c. geographical priorities (in South East Europe, Eastern Europe and Caucasus, the South- Mediterranean region and Africa-Europe Cooperation), d. communication and publications (logo, website, Training-Kits, Coyote magazine, Knowledge Books, Forum 21). Also administrative, budgetary and contractual items of the Specific Grant Agreement 2012 (to be signed following the management board) were discussed.
Conclusions/Follow Up The meeting took place in a fruitful, open and constructive athmosphere. The priorities of the work plan 2012 were decided unanimously. the decisions will be translated into the Specific Grant Agreement 2012 to be provided shortly after the meeting, still in 2011, to be signed early 2012. The next PMB will take place 26 April 2012 in Strasbourg.
