Title National conference to present and sign the updated Code of Ethics for journalists 
Description The updated version of the Code of Ethics for journalists will be presented during the event. The media outlets from the Republic of Moldova will be invited to sign the updated Code of Ethics.

Objective(s)  
Output/Results The output of the conference is the adoption of the new edition of the “Code of Ethics of Moldovan Journalist” by 88 mass-media institutions and associations from the Republic of Moldova (75% of all media outlets of Moldova). For the first time in its history, the Moldovan media outlets publicly committed to observe the ethical and professional principles foreseen by the Code of Ethics. The observance of the Code will be monitored by the Press Council, which is also dealing with mediating the complaints from the public and provides remedies for unethical conduct by journalists.
