Title Setting up the Multimedia Department of the public broadcaster “Teleradio Moldova” (TRM) 
Description The Council of Europe will provide comprehensive targeted consultancy, assistance and trainings in the process of setting up the TRM’s Multimedia Department as well as purchase of the specialised equipment. The CoE experts will develop the TRM’s Strategy on setting up the Multimedia Department, including the structure of Department and the detailed plan of operations for department setup, will elaborate a list of technical equipment required to complete the Multimedia Department, will develop the guidelines for elaboration of the web design and structure of the future webpage of TRM, will draw up the respective job descriptions & interview guidelines for new Multimedia personnel, will conduct the training needs assessment of Multimedia personnel that will be used for developing proper coaching&training sessions and will train the staff of TRM Multimedia Department in writing quality news stories, interviews and other journalistic materials for news sites.

Objective(s)  
Output/Results TRM’s Strategy on setting up the Multimedia Department, the guidelines for elaboration of the web design and structure of the TRM’s webpage and the job descriptions and interview guidelines for new Multimedia personnel were elaborated by DWA consultants and implemented by TRM. The staff of Multimedia Department was trained in writing quality news stories, interviews and other journalistic materials for TRM’s multimedia portal as result of two training sessions each lasting for a week. The Multimedia Department was endowed with specialised IT equipment necessary for its smooth activity. The official inauguration of the Multimedia Department took place on 19 December 2011.
