Title OPCAT Global Forum, ''Preventing Torture, Upholding Dignity: from Pledges to Actions'' organised by the Association for the Prevention of Torture, implementing partner of the European NPM Project 
Description The Forum will take place in Geneva on 10 and 11 November 2011.
The APT has designed the Forum to be a unique international opportunity for all States Parties, all National Preventive Mechanisms, all members of the UN Subcommittee on Prevention, all other relevant UN experts, all relevant regional bodies, UN staff and civil society stake-holders, to share their experiences and inspire each other with solutions to better implement the OPCAT.

The Forum’s programme addresses crucial questions on the OPCAT and to provoke useful, enlightening and motivating dialogues a broad variety of speakers and moderators have been invited to lead the debates.
