Title Assessment visit and round table on the mechanism for coordinating and monitoring implementation of the Moldovan Strategy for Justice Sector Reform.
Description The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova has recently drawn up a Strategy for Justice Sector Reform (pending examination by the Parliament). The Council of Europe has been asked by the MoJ to provide assistance on setting up a mechanism for coordinating (including donor coordination) and monitoring of the SJSR. The draft SJSR itself treats this issue discretely. It is envisaged under the Pillar 7 (please see the attached draft) and provides for the MoJ leading the coordination efforts.

The activities are intended to provide advice on the good practices (limited though) and recommendable way of setting up the coordination and monitoring of the SJSR implementation.
