Title 2 in-depth seminars (two days each seminar) for national ECHR judges' trainers on the effective investigation and adjudication of ill-treatment and case law of the European Court of Human Rights 
Description The seminars for the ECHR judges-trainers of the appeal courts of the south & western regions of Ukraine were held in Odessa and Lviv. The seminars were dedicated to the topic of the effective investigation and adjudication of cases involving allegations of ill-treatment and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). The focus was made on interpretation of Article 3 of the ECHR and cross-cutting issues with Articles 5 and 6 of the Convention).

Output/Results After such capacity-building activities the judges should be as the focal points in their respective courts, whereby each of them would provide ongoing information, training and advice to the judges of his/her respective court on the issues of domestic application of the ECHR.
