Title Africa-Europe Youth Platform Meeting 
Description The Africa-Europe Youth Platform (AEYP) will meet for the third time. More than 30 representatives from African and European Youth Organizations as well as from the African Union Commission, the European Commission and the Council of Europe will debate on youth related issues within the framework of the Africa-EU Strategic Partnership and the implementation of the Africa-Europe Youth Cooperation Action Plan (2015).

We recall that AEYP held its first constitutive meeting in 4-8 November 2012 at the headquarters of the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa. The meeting included a seminar on ''Decent Work and Youth Unemployment'' and brought together African and European youth representatives and institutions to tackle youth unemployment, one of the Africa-EU Partnerships (Migration, Mobility and Employment). The second meeting was organise in November 2013, in brussels-Belgium and the main outcome was the setting up of a Steering Group and prepared and organised the 3rd Africa-Europe Youth Leaders' Summit.

The 3rd meeting of the AEYP is organised by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, in the framework of the Joint Management Agreement between the European Commission – EuropeAid Cooperation Office and the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, in partnership with the European Youth Forum, the Pan-African Youth Union, the African Diaspora Youth Network in Europe and the Network of Youth Organisations in Africa.
