Title Global education and youth training course for trainers (in the framework of the 15th University on Youth and Development) 
Description Within the framework of the 15th University of Youth and Development, the NSC together with the Network of Universities will organise a Global education and youth training of trainers on 21-28 September.

Aims at empowering young trainers to take an active role in the global education on-line training courses as well as to invest in key multipliers that can constitute a pool of trainers and contribute to the further development of a GE approach for the sister Universities (Uruguay, Spain, Cape Verde and Tunisia).

Partners: Network of Universities on Youth and Development (European Youth Forum, Spanish Youth Council, INJUVE, Latin American Youth Forum, League of Arab States, ADYNE, Latina American and Caribbean YMCA, Iberoamerican Youth Space and others)

Participants: 25 young active trainers will be selected together with the partners, assuring a global and balanced representation of different Universities’ framework.

Expected results:
- A pool of trainers in GE, enhancing the training capacity for the other activities within the Network of Universities on Youth and Global Citizenship and the online training courses;
- Contributions for the new GE online training course on Active Citizenship;
- Reinforcement of the Network of Universities on Youth and Global Citizenship and promotion of bi/multilateral cooperation.

Objective(s) The specific objectives of the course are:
- To facilitate the development of competences and transfer of innovation in educational strategies with a collaborative learning approach;
- To explore the philosophy and the implementation of both the Network of the Universities and e-learning courses in order to act as multipliers;
- To understand the different contexts of implementation of global education.
Output/Results - 20 young people empowered:
- to further support the practice of GE based on NSC GE methodology and programme (Global Education Guidelines and online training courses), as well as;
- to develop competences of participants that are or will be actively involved in the implementation of the sister Universities;
- the group facilitated the working groups of the joint session of the 15th University on Youth and Development. The conclusions of the session are part of the final report;
- networking was reinforced amongst the youth organisations present. 
Conclusions/Follow Up - a report of the activity will be available by December 2014 in NSC website.
- some participants will take an active role as trainers in NSC and partners' activities, mainly in the framework of the Network of Universities on Youth and Global Citizenship;
- some participants will continue their process of development of competences, through the participation in the online courses organised by NSC;
- a call will be addressed to the group of participants, to identify 3 junior trainers to tutor the online training courses. 
Participants 20 participants from Europe and beyond, with the following general profile:
- a key multiplier playing an active role within a youth organisation/platform or institution (that is or plans to be actively involved in the organisation of one of the Universities);
- some experience as trainers/facilitators;
- aged between 18 and 30;
- already some qualification or experience in terms of the network of Universities and/or international youth work and project work;
- committed to attend the full duration of the course and be supported by one youth organisation/platform or institution;
- able to work, communicate and report in English.
