Title Working meeting of the NPM group leades 
Description The activity is organised in co-operation with the National Preventive Mechanism (NPM), the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Penal Reform International (PRI). The activity is aimed at strengthening the role of the NPM group leaders and dissemination of good practices among NPM groups. It was specifically focused on the quality of monitoring reports and recommendations, as well as the communication with Media.

Objective(s)  
Output/Results NPM group leaders had an opportunity to discuss the methodology applied by groups in different regions, their challenges and good practices. With the help of a CoE expert the participants of the working group meeting increased their skills in formulation of the ''SMART'' recommendations, which in future will help to increase the effectiveness of the NPM monitoring work.
