Title Support CPD by providing recomendations on the revisions/ammendments of Anti-Discrimination law and other relevant national laws, and harmonizing existing AD definitions and provisions to bring them in line with the European standards/Activity 1.2 
Description The activity aims at providing experts' recomendations to CPD on:
- Harmonisation of the provisions on the burden of proof in the Law on the Protection from Discrimination, the Labour Law, the Law on Education and the Procedural Codes and bring them in line with the ‘Community Acquis’.
- Harmonisation of the definitions of discrimination and bringing them in line with the ‘Community Acquis’, with reference to the list of grounds for discrimination and the different types of discrimination, like direct discrimination, indirect discrimination, harassment, victimisation and discrimination by association.
- Clarifying the obligation to provide evidence to start procedures and to shift the burden of proof as foreseen in the Law of Protection from Discrimination means and interpretation according the Community Acquis.
- Addressing the intersectional and multiple discrimination to protect persons affected by discrimination on multiple grounds, in a way that reflects the cumulative nature of this discrimination.
