Project Purpose 1 - 2006/DG3/JP/1655   Establish a climate of transparency and trust of the population in the census results and ensure the international standards of the census
Expected Result 1.1 - Increased confidence in the census leads to a higher participation in the census and a credible final data The census is organised according to the international standards and in respect of ethnic minorities An appropriate mechanism is put in place to allow for a proper handling of data, avoiding misusage and with respect of its confidentiality

Objective(s) The team of international observers perform the monitoring of the census field operation to ensure an impartial and faire operation. 
Output/Results The census has been conducted in a fair and impartial way and met the technical requirements. 
Conclusions/Follow Up The census data will now be processed and ultimately published under the close monitoring from the IMO
