Show Synopsis

Title Training on the Law on ''Access to public information'' in Odessa (20.02), Lugansk (29.02), Khmelnytskyi (16.03)
Description In February – March 2012 a series of regional trainings “Organizing access to public information in a government institution” was continued for government officials responsible for organising access to information in their authorities at the regional and local level. Civil society activists, mostly engaged in anti-corruption activities and investigative journalists also participated in the trainings. The trainings with practical sessions tailored to the real local cases from each city were held by independent lawyers involved in drafting the Law “On Access to Public Information” and by famous journalists. The quality of the trainings was highly assessed by the participants, who started appealing to the trainers for consultations on the law after the events. The Center of Political Studies and Analysis acted as an institutional partner for the events.
