    Overall Objectives To provide support to the reform processes in the EaP countries through a multilateral approach and to bring them closer to Council of Europe and EU standards in core areas covered by the Eastern Partnership Platform 1 “Democracy, good governance and stability”.
     

     

     
    Project Purpose 5      2011/CDL/JP/2652   CoE Facility - capacity building of electoral administrations 300 000 
    (3 Activities) Narrative
    To ensure the implementation of the principles of the European electoral heritage, especially in pre-electoral periods
    The electoral process is organised and run in conformity with European standards.
     
    National and international election observers reports.  The authporities of the targeted countries are willing to co-operate on issues of common interest 
    Expected Result 5.1 Electoral administrations are better prepared to fulfil their tasks (training on specific issues provided)
    European standards are better implemented and the electoral process runs smoothly

    National and international election observers reports;
    Statistics on electoral disputes
     
    Political stability in the beneficiary countries;
    Wide policy support and commitment to reforms;
    Availability of funds;
    Availability of national and international experts.
