To promote within Europe a sense of common cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, in support of cultural identities and social linkages and as the foundation of future European citizenship. |
Reinforcement of the European dimension of our common European heritage by specific initiatives aimed at this. |
Dissemination of visibility material (continued development of the internet site, publications, posters, TV programmes, video clip on the Days etc.) to ensure that the EHDs have resonance throughout each year. |
Continuation of the European Heritage Days (EHDs) within the framework of this programme between the Council of Europe and the European Commission - the continuation of the Annual Covenant is essential for the EHDs. |
Expected Result 1.1
A third European Heritage Forum will have been organised on ''Cultural Heritage, Participation and Prosperity''. The Forum should confirm its vocation as the annual crossroads of heritage specialists in Europe. |
The third forum will have been organised in one of the States parties to the European Cultural Convention for a wide public including the EHD national coordinators, members of the CDPATEP, heritage specialists from member states, international institutions and organisations, INGOs etc. |
Preparation of the programme of the Forum and the report which should be widely disseminated in member States and be put on the website.
|
Willingness of member States to host such Forums and continuation of the co-financing with the European Commission. |
